7. If I Am an Extension of G‑d… Then Who Are You?

Updated: 6 days ago

In the last post, we explored a mind-bending idea: that you—yes, you—are an extension of G‑d. Not just spiritually inspired. Not just metaphorically divine. But literally a spark of the Infinite, inserted into this reality as G‑d’s “image” within His own imagination.

But that leads us to a natural and important question:

If I am an extension of G‑d…Then who are you?

Here’s the answer:You are too.

So Why Are We Different?

If both of us are extensions of the same G‑d, if we both carry His image within us… why do we seem so different?

Why do we look different? Think differently? Feel differently? Why are some of us loud and some of us quiet? Why do we struggle with different things?

The answer lies in the difference between us and G‑d.

You see, when you close your eyes and imagine a scene—like the beach from earlier—you can only create one scene at a time. One reality. One point of view. If you want to switch to a new location or perspective, you have to let go of the first one.

Your imagination is linear and limited.

But G‑d is infinite. He doesn’t imagine like we do.

G‑d can project infinite perspectives at the same time—without limit, without conflict, without fragmentation. He can “experience” the world through billions of lenses simultaneously, each with its own personality, struggle, and mission.

It’s like a cosmic camera with countless lenses—all observing and participating in the same story from different angles.

And each of us is one of those lenses. Each of us carries a unique image of G‑d. Not a clone. Not a duplicate. A completely distinct angle of the Infinite Light.

That’s why we’re different. Because G‑d wants to be known in a billion different ways—through your thoughts, your words, your tears, your jokes, your fears, your wins, your failures. Through you.

What This Means For You

The implications of this are enormous. Here are just a few:

1. You Are Never Alone

If you are an extension of G‑d, and everyone else is too—then G‑d is always with you, within you, and all around you. Your life is not separate from Him. You are not distant. You’re inside the dreamer. You’re part of the dreamer.

2. You Matter to G‑d

Because G‑d experiences the world through you, everything you do affects Him. He chose to become vulnerable in this relationship. When you’re in pain, He is too. When you feel joy, He rejoices—but on an infinite scale. He didn’t create you and walk away. He became part of you.

This isn’t just theology. It’s intimacy.

3. You Can Change Reality

If you are an extension of the One who is imagining this world, that means you’re not powerless in this story. You’re not stuck. You’re not a passive character in someone else’s dream.

You’re a co-creator. A collaborator. You can influence the flow of reality. You can defy the limits of nature. You can perform miracles—not because you're magical, but because you’re connected to the One who writes the rules.
